Is there anything to this - are vets having to buy their own prosthetics? |
|
I am trying to track down if this is a fact. A friend of my Mom's is an American Legion member who told her today that Iraq veterans are having to buy their own prosthetic limbs. She told me he was quite throughly enraged. I promised her I would pass this around if I could find a source for this. Can anyone help me?

It's plausible, but I'd still like some confirmation or refutation.
Anyone?

It does sound to me like something the Bush admin. would do when among other failures they sent troops over to Iraq without bodyarmor and keeps cutting VA funding.
