I really wish we got rid of the Electoral College in favor of run-offs or instant run-offs and had a taxpayer subsidized election system with a ban on outside money. It would mean not worrying about fragmenting the electorate.

5. GREAT news from the ground in PA today... |
|
We went to a busy corner tonight and waved Kerry signs and held up a huge K/E banner. The response we got was A-MA-ZING!! For awhile, every other car was honking and giving us a thumbs up!!
On the bad side, here in Berks County, PA, they are saying that well over 75% of the new registration is Dem. COnsequently, the Republican head of the election office is saying that these are mostly "fraudulent" and many at the Kerry HQs are saying that they might use this sorry excuse to challenge the PA results if it's close. Just a heads up...they are NOT liking that all the new registration is Dems who want Bush OUT! They're gonna pull something fishy I know it...

We went to a busy corner in Montgomery County and waved Kerry Signs. It was very possitive... many more honks than fingers :) Also a positive sign every minority that drove past or walked past (minor city so there was a lot) Said that they were going to vote, some for the first time. A lot of people after seeing us starting talking pro-Kerry and where and how to vote. There is no way (fingers-crossed) that Pa is red in November!!! YEAH!!

10. I was in Harleysville last weekend |

and it seemed pretty Bush leaning. That is in Montgomery County isn't it? I don't think this is as much of a drop kick as you think, but lets hope for the best.

8. The Keystone State is going to go for Kerry easily... |
|
...Ohio has been my only worry, and it's a rapidly fading one, at that. In fact, I'm now convinced that we're going to win in a walk.

9. Nader off OHIO ballot, too! |
|
< http://www.ohio.com/mld/ohio/news/local/9905615.htm?1c> A federal judge in Columbus refused Tuesday to place independent presidential candidate Ralph Nader on the Ohio ballot because the campaign's petition circulators committed ``widespread'' and ``substantial'' fraud. more
