I heard Hannity call Kerry an admitted war criminal tonight. The last
Edited on Thu Oct-14-04 12:29 AM by doc03
two days I have heard a caller to a local talk show talking about the same subject. He actually played an interview that Kerry had with Tim Russert admitting to war crimes. What concerns me is if Kerry wins are they setting this up to be the new Whitewater type investigation to plague his administration. I assume Hannity must be pushing this on his radio program and the caller is just parroting it like the Ditto heads do. I wondered if anyone else has been hearing this subject being pushed on the talk shows.

3. When Kerry talks about war crimes, he says free-fire zones were a
kind of war crime, or at least the interview I saw where he was talking about it he did. Vietnam was free-fire.

12. On the clip they played on the radio Kerry actually said he burned
villages and other war crimes. Sorry I didn't catch the date of the interview but he did say it in the interview that they played on the radio. I believe it was done this year, it was with Tim Russert so I assume it was on MTP.

15. watch 'Going Upriver'
if you have any doubts what Kerry's position on free-fire zones from his own experience.

5. Hannity and all the other Limbaugh wannabes
take Kerry out of context. What Kerry did was relay testimony from vets who themselves copped to witnessing and/or participating in war crimes. How this man can be viewed as anything but courageous for standing up to an unpopular war is beyond me? Why are not more young people standing up to this immoral administration. John Kerry may not be the ideal candidate, but at least he will attempt to work with the international community, unlike Bush and his neocons.

9. The RW nutjobs have pushed this meme
...as far as it will go. It's utter nonsense. If there were any way to convict him, Nixon would have made sure it happened.

Kerry said in 1971 that he was told of atrocities at the Winter Soldier hearing. He said he was ordered to free-fire into villages after they were cleared of civilians, which is a violation of international law, but does not rise to the level of court martial here in the States.

It's bogus, it's bullshit, it's all they've got and they've got nothin'.

14. What a stupid move.
that applies to our forces in Iraq since this is a guerrilla war being fought by civilians instead of ground troops (from their side). What an idiot.

16. In my opinion the Vietnam war was a (war crime). The thing that
concerns me is these assholes starting some investigation that will cripple Kerry's administration like they did with Clinton.
