Did any one else get the OOPS tom brokaw feed taped?

The guy I was watching with kept saying that they did not know they were on, but it became obvious both tom and the big man were told at the same time, this is dead air, start filling if you can and Dtom stepped up. We hit record. We got all he said before they cut him off. I should have it cleaned up an postable by tomorrow.

my desire to see dan rather seek revenge against shrub and rove with a golf club, and several beers clouded my post debate facts.

Anyhoo, I was watching hdtv over one of the internets and some body hit a button they should not have. We cut from the effervescent Robin Williams on entertainment tonight or whichever show that manwhore from sugar ray is on, to tom brokaw and fat guy in yellow tie trying not to acknowledge the light on the camera in front of them so they did not have to talk. after about 3 painful "I'm not looking at you" minutes. Tom started just plain refuting Bush's crap, like a journalist might. Again with the "It was so sweet". It was almost as if he was thinking, "your giving me the time, I'm speaking my mind." They cut him off tuit suite after he opened his mouth. But we got it recorded to hard drive.

12. Not suprising that Brockaw would go off on Shrub,

The man is really quite liberal. I remember reading an interview he did with Mother Jones in the early eighties, and he really went off on Bush I and Reagan. I think that he got muzzled as he became THE MAN at NBC, but with his retirement this year, shortly after the election, I'm just waiting for him to go off on Shrub, right before the election. Should be fun to watch.
