Dem. HQs gal suggested I call the police after the first one was stolen and I didn't. Perhaps I should this time? This is pissing me off big time! Notice how they do it both times on debate nights while chimpy* is lying and failing miserably. It really surprises me too because My neighborhood is very Democratic with only a token amount of * support. This must be a concerted and organized effort by the repukes to drive around town doing this! They are pathetic and won't stop the Huge Surge for John Kerry!

1. try putting straight pins along the top and sides of your next sign.

fold the material over just a little bit, then put the pin through. it'll hold.

and the s.o.b. that takes your next sign will probably pay for it.

Just curious. You should absolutely call the police. If it's a pattern, call the local TV and/or newspaper.

There have been plenty of suggestions on DU of ways to safeguard your sign. Dog food, staples, motion sensor lights, etc.

6. Have you seen the sign in front of the house on the main street

that goes to the shopping center (I SHOULD just IM you with the name of the street, but the cryptic stuff is fun!) that says "This replaces my Kerry/Edwards Sign AGAIN?"

The Repubs are pathetic this year. Mean witches and girly boys that can't take the heat of their cheerleader going down.

8. You're not alone

Not only are signs getting stolen nationwide, but in my city, two developmentally arrested hosses just placed Kerry/Edwards signs in front of their yards with big red cross-outs over them. It's almost as if they're taunting and flaunting their thievery.

The worst part about it is that half of these fuckasses probably think this is funny or commendable.

Soon as I get back from DC, a big-ass wooden sign is going in my yard in big fat letters that says THIS IS BUSH COUNTRY, AND DON'T YOU FORGET IT COMMIE!! I'll flank it with two whitehouse.org posters and pepper it with a few billionaires for bush sayings (Like "Repeal the First Amendment" or "Tax Work, not Wealth"). Let's see who gets the joke and who doesn't. My house will probably be vandalized.

I heard a lot of people in WI had this happen to them so they made up their own signs. "First they stole the election, then they stole my lawn sign". :D Might want to try that one out.
