5. The death rate of 'little snotters' from flu is high, is it?
Or of teachers?

3. Look if the President says we don't need flu shots
I believe him. After all he's not a doctor but he plays on on tv.

6. From the CDC
The following priority groups for vaccination with inactivated influenza vaccine this season are considered to be of equal importance and are:

* all children aged 6–23 months;
* adults aged 65 years and older;
* persons aged 2–64 years with underlying chronic medical conditions;
* all women who will be pregnant during the influenza season;
* residents of nursing homes and long-term care facilities;
* children aged 6 months–18 years on chronic aspirin therapy;
* health-care workers involved in direct patient care; and
* out-of-home caregivers and household contacts of children aged <6 months

8. Thanks for the list! Most helpful. Lacks busdrivrs, cabbies, prostitutes,
drugstore cashiers, teachers, grocer baggers, misc cashiers, daycare workers, ... all these will become spreaders, as well as victims.

Estimates of the coming death toll to hang on bush?

What was the death/merely sick... tally last year?

13. I work in the public transportation industry
Most years, we all get free flu shots.

This year, we will end up being nasty flu vectors, cause there ain't no shots.

7. I am dreading what my year will be like...
I hope that I only get it once....
I haven't had it since I have been getting flu shots.... but when I get the flu I'm out for a week or more.

9. My school always provided teachers with flu shots, but not this year!
I remember when I was student teaching...I'm a music teacher, and I was so sick that I only had a useable range of two notes. It was not pleasant.

10. Teachers are doomed
Children are among the dirtiest of humans. They're efficient disease vectors because they neither understand nor care much about sanitation.

11. I'm pregnant and was just told they don't have the flu shot for me.
They are going to prioritize people more in need like those undergoing Chemo. My fetus could die if I get the flu and have a high fever. Since I'm relatively healthy otherwise I am lower on the priority list.

WTF!! THIS IS AMERICA! Why can't people get the care they need!

:wtf:
