if the candidates were allowed to talk to and question each other?

Would * have had a better time of it?

Somehow I feel he would have been even worse off. It would be tougher to get out of questions fired at him by a former prosecutor who knows the facts and thinks on his feet.

Pretty much the last three debates, expect Kerry would have someone other than the moderator to talk to about issues.
