Catholic Bishops are not endorsing Bush
Separation of Church and State:

A Message for my fellow Catholics for Kerry.

Just for the record the media is dead wrong when they try to make it look like Archbishops came out for Bush. I wrote the Archbishop Chaput and he said don't believe what others tell you until you read my transcripts. He was kind enough to send me transcripts and in those transcripts he mentioned something I thought was great. And that is would these same catholic republicans say he is against Guliani and they shouldn't vote for him?
He also sent me articles he wrote against the Iraq war and the Death Penalty.

I think one of the best points that Kerry made was in his acceptance speech where he said, "Let us not say that God is on our side but we are on God's side."

May this find all of you happy and well,
Vinnie Vin

3. Don't forget www.votingcatholic.org -- AWESOME Website!
Non-partisan website for Catholics -- www.votingcatholic.org -- which is awesome at helping folks figure out who they agree with. May not always point people to Kerry, but very good at helping people figure out what is REALLY important to them. :)

8. My scores: 45% Bishops, 68% Kerry, and -73% Bush
Yes, that's a NEGATIVE 73% that I agree with Bush.

4. Doesn't surprise me
JPII has been against the war from day one. There are a few crazies, like this Colorado bishop, but overall most bishops wouldn't endorse Bush.

My father was an ex-seminarian and knew many priests, one of whom is now in the Vatican and another of whom heads the diocese in which I live. God knows priests have their faults but most are well-educated, intelligent men.
