O'Reilly's "Talking Points Memo" on sexual harassment suit
Oh man, he gets more pathetic by the minute!

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,135423,00.html

"Just about every famous person I know has been threatened by somebody. Fame makes you a target. It is something that has to be taken very seriously. As I've mentioned before, I've received many threats over the years. Everything from death letters to some guy running around the country offering people $25,000 to sign affidavits accusing me of whatever.

The lawyers here at FOX News have been great in dealing with these situations, but there comes a time when enough's enough. So this morning I had to file a lawsuit against some people who are demanding $60 million or they will "punish" me and FOX News. $60 million dollars.

I really can't say anything else. I don't want to waste your time with this. The justice system has the case. We'll see what happens. But in the end, you should know this is all about hurting me and the FOX News Channel.

It's a shame we have to live in a country where this happens, but got to go through it. All right, that's it. End of story."

Cry us some big crocodile tears, Bill :nopity: :nopity:

I was being facetious, sorry, I didn't use smilies. O'Reilly's such a drama queen that he becomes the persecuted victim and Clinton had to put up with this shit for years.

7. FOX should be pressured to fire or suspend him (at risk of boycott)
It's only right to give the hypocrite the same punishment he would push onto someone else.

9. Am I the only DU'er who thinks he was set up?
First of all, I can't tell you how delighted I am to see this puke get what's coming to him.

But if she has that long "shower" conversation on tape, I think she set him up. I think that she may have had some consentual phone sex with him previously, and then taped this one to set him up.

Her previous boss at CNN was fired for sexual harrassment. Coincidence?

I mean, if your boss started talking to you this way, would you feel "frightened and repulsed" and keep listening? Or would you hang up on him or tell him to shut the fuck up?

I really don't think that even O'Liely would let it get to the level of conversation that it did if he thought that the woman was not into it.

Usually sexual preditors of this variety are a little more subtle, until they get a response. He knows the law - there is no way he would have said what he did unless he thought that he had a willing partner.

My .02 flame away.

13. "It's a shame we have to live in a country where this happens," ???
Yes, Bill. It's called a democracy. It is where people have a right to equal treatment under the law. It is where individuals in the workplace have a right to respect, and you don't have the right to blackmail them into sexual compliance with the idea no one would believe them. And this isn't an anoymous nobody writing crackpot letter. This is your producer, you knucklehead.

Are Bill O'Reilly and Fox going to hire the dreaded "Trial Lawyers" to file that lawsuit?
