6. I voted Schieffer
I think Bob Schieffer asked questions that the candidates didn't expect, and made them more personal.

7. Lehrer gets my vote.
Scheiffer would have gotten my vote if he'd have asked questions about the environment & energy issues. I had been particularly anxious for the energy bill to enter the debate; it would have been an opportunity to hammer the coWard on it. Luckily, though, last night Kerry found the opportunity to mention that the Democrats got locked out of the negotiating sessions & weren't allowed to even vote on certain bills.

8. Lehrer must have done the best job--I barely noticed him

And I'm not sure it's fair to include Gibson because his role was different. And why isn't Ifill included--just because she moderated the VP debate? She seemed to be under the impression that since she was sitting at the table, she had equal billing. I think Schieffer was the worst--He asked some good questions, but he asked some silly and biased ones, too. He seemed to have an agenda.

9. Lehrer by far
was the best. I wish he could have moderated all 4 debates. He seems to be pretty straight forward and VERY unbiased to both. He just asks the tough questions

10. As a long viewer of what used to be the "McNiel-Lehrer Report"...
I have always seen Jim Lehrer (Lehrer means "teacher" in German) as being extremely fair and objective in his interviews, his commentary, and, his reporting. I also observed this to be true on the first debate; but, I tend to be a bit prejudice in my high regard for him.

12. Lehrer
Lehrer was the best and Schieffer the worst. Schieffer asked some really stupid questions, i.e. "the women in your life" and questions about their religion. I don't care about either one of those.

13. Who didn't push-poll, ask stupid questions or stop Bush from acting out?
Lehrer...although he still has a rightwing bias,
he was forgettable which is what it's all about.
