Papa Johns Response re:Sinclair |
|
From the below repsonse you can bet that I will NEVER buy another fucking Papa Johns pizza. This is how little they value their customers.

4. Papa Johns is owned by a hardcore fundie |
|
I've seen him on the 700 Club a few times (keep your enemies closer, and all that). Good friends with "Rev" Pat.
They seem to not have Papa Johns here in NYC but even if they did I would never ever patronize them.

22. Yeah, but not as much as I used to |
|
I like to keep an eye on the fundie fuckers to see what they're up to. Before AAR I used to also listen to the local fundie radio station to see what shit they were gonna try next.
It's also funny as hell. Much more so during the Clinton years though, when Pat was blowing a gasket like every day. It still has its moments...like watching Stepford co-host lady try to come up with a thought of her own...or when Pat tries to heal people through the teevee.
I watch TBN every day as well, those clowns are hilarious. I'm mad they took off Bob Larson though cuz I used to love his fake exorcisms. :silly:

10. they gave out worthless coupons |
|
In West Linn, OR, they would give out coupons for their pizzas and then, when you would bring the coupon in, they would say it was no good. And then, when you got the pizza (at full price), they would put THE SAME WORTHLESS COUPON on top of the box !
Haven't patronized them now for years. A**holes !

33. Dude! They TOTALLY did that to my mom a few years ago |
|
She got one of those door-knob-hanger coupons. There was no expiration on it and wasn't a 'corporate' thing---like something the franchise owner had made for all the stores.
So she calls up THAT NIGHT that the coupon was put on her door. TOLD THEM she had the coupon and they said "our register isn't working so just add 6% (or whatever) to the coupon price for your total".
Driver comes to the door to deliver pizza, and tells her the amount is FULL PRICE. She says "no, i have this coupon" and the driver says that the coupon expired last week.
She says that's impossible b/c the coupon was just put on my door today. Driver says that she's lying and those coupons expired a week ago and that it didn't have to have an expiration date b/c the coupon said "THIS WEEK'S SPECIAL" and since everyone is a psychic, we were supposed to know that THIS WEEK meant LAST WEEK, even though there was no date
So she tells the driver to kiss her ass (not really) and that she wasn't going to pay full price. Driver tells her if she doesn't buy the pizza, he's going to call the cops blah blah. For SOME reason, she paid him the full price and off he went.
She immediately called the store and was told by some zit-faced 15 year old "Night Shift Team Leader" that she was lying, she did not have a coupon put on her door, that there aren't even ANY COUPONS of that nature, and that the order taker never verified that there was a coupon since no coupons existed. He THEN said that she was lying when she said she was forced to pay full price b/c the driver just called on his cellphone and said that she was raising such a stink and threatened to call the police that the driver just GAVE HER THE PIZZA for no charge. He then called her a fat pig and hung up on her.
The next day she fired off a letter to corporate and got a "fuck you very much" letter back a few weeks later with (get this) COUPONS! ha.
I hate that fucking company.

|
After learning that they want to send copies of FarenHype911 to soldiers I sent them a note canceling my account. They just sent me a reply notifying me that they closed the account. They never mentioned why I canceled. But in the same note they sent me the URL to one of their products saying "please take a look at this product". Sounds like we both got canned responses.

26. Here are the names of two senior marketing directors at PJ from Google: |
|
Cathy Hull and Chris Jacobsen. I assume both can be reached through the corporate switchboard number at (502)261-7272 in Louisville. (I called after hours so didn't get anyone.) Keep in mind that this company is doubly vulnerable to a boycott, first as a restaurant company with many competitive options and, second, as they seek to attract potential franchisors. Franchising is also quite competitive and this may be a major source of revenues to them.

... and we order a few times each month both from home and the office; this was just sent to them via their online response form. "Gentlemen, I have learned that you are actively supporting and advertising on the SINCLAIR broadcast network. A network which is preparing to flagrantly violate all that is fair about our electoral process by broadcasting a vile piece of filth specific to Senator John Kerry. I also understand that your corporate response, thus far, has been to tell those complaining to "have a nice day" and to ignore this issue. I have also subsequently learned - as is now being posted on many progressive bulletin boards and websites - that your founder is a virulent supporter of right-wing causes. I no longer wish to ever buy from you again. Cancel the following online account immediately: xxxxx@xxxxx.com. Goodbye, xxxx xxxxx."Go for it, friends: http://www.papajohns.com/feedback/ele_feed.htm

|
They are starting to skimp on the tomato sauce. Worst pizza I have had in a long time. If you like to spend $15 on a large pita bread with a little cheese, then go ahead. I won't buy another.
I've noticed the other chains did the same with the tomato sauce. Papa Johns was last chain that HAD a good thin crust pizza. I guess I will have to start making my own if I want pizza that I like.
