GEORGE, it's just NOT funny! |
Edited on Thu Oct-14-04 04:40 PM by nostamj

Of all the things to hate about GWB, there's nothing I loathe more than seeing him laugh at the most serious issues.

9/11? A laugh-riot! The 'Trifecta' joke. Laura in her house slippers. 'One lousy pilot' and on and on...

WMDs? Who wasn't slapping their knee over his hilarious performance for the White House correspondents' dinner?

EVERYTHING is a joke to this cretin. And it was never so clear as in his giggling, tittering, smirking, grinning performance in the final debate.

Now matter how serious the issue... * just thought it was an excuse for yet another lame joke.

Was he so drugged up he thought he was at a Friar's Club Roast?

I am still waiting for Kerry to look at his behavior and say: Mr. President, these are serious issues. Why do you seem so amused by it all? American citizens are suffering. American soldiers are dying. Innocent Iraqis are dying by the thousands? Can't you wipe that grin off your face for 90 minutes?

I, of course, have spent a lot of time writing and making jokes at *'s expense but, what I do affects no one.

But * seems genuinely amused by the horrors he has unleashed.

He's just sickening. History will judge him the WORST 'president' in the history of this republic for many reasons. But, hopefully, his utterly inappropriate 'sense of humor' will be near the top of the list.

The boy who laughed at blowing up frogs now laughs at blowing up countries and destroying families.

Enjoy your LAST laughs you smirking sociopath.

6. Consider this
He is the president. Why is his first thought to criticize a pilot rather to think OMG how many people are hurt? What do I need to do? Who did this? What about these people???????????
It's especially the lack of self monitoring. Even if that was your first thought, wouldn't you recognize that it was inappropriate? That there were other things to think about first? ESPECIALLY, if you were in charge.
That he could possibly say it says a lot.

7. The man never valued life....
American, Iraqi you name it. The first sign came when he put that woman to death back in Texas and made some lewd comment while denying her stay...... So what you say really comes as no surprise to me...

10. I've asked that same question many times
If there was a poll as to what was your first thought or reaction when you heard the news, how many would actually say, "What a lousy pilot"? But that begs the question, why are so many people voting for a person who could say such an unbelievable thing?

11. It should be on the MMPI
It's a classic example of a lack of empathy. Very few people would answer that question that way. The closest you might get is people wondering "Was this an accident or intentional?"

20. Salon Did a Hilarious Article
about people's first reactions and thoughts and actions that day. It was hilarious, crass, politically incorrect and extremely human. And empathy played a very small part in most people's reactions.

39. Un-PC Article
How long does Salon keep stuff in its archive? The article came out on or about the one year anniversary of 9/11 and was written by Damien Cave. I kept a copy, but it's at home and I'm at work. The first time I read it a was crying it was so funny. Most human thing I've ever seen about 9/11.

19. Well....
Anybody who was a pilot (not saying Bush was a pilot), hung around pilots, or had anything whatsoever to do with the aircraft industry. Most people don't have the thought police in their heads the first minute they hear of a big disaster.

was made well after that morning. and, it was made to GET A LAUGH.

period. BUSH knew all about hijacked airliners and terrorist threats (assuming he listened at all while Condi read the summary of that 8/6 PDB to him....)

he was getting LAUGHS off 9/11 and he's STILL doing it!

5. I agree completely.
The trifecta comment & the WMD hunt at the White House correspondents' dinner were especially bad. There was also the joking comment about how it would be easier if America were a dictatorship as long as he was the dictator. If a Democratic president made these comments, they would be CRUCIFIED!!! By the people & the media.

I absolutely hate his smirking little face. I'd like to punch his frickin' lights out. I think he suffers terribly from small man's complex. What a loser. It's a sad commentary on our society that so many people are followers of his. They are losers, too.

14. Amen! Even on the very day that 6 more of our children died in his sham
of a war, he smiles, smirks and says what a good time he is having in the debates.

During his 2 minute close, he talked about his "values' and tried to squeeze out some tears for his adoring masses. Gag..it looked like a child trying to get some smypathy from mom and dad after being grounded. The man is sick, a pathological liar, and hasn't an ounce of empathy for his fellow human beings anywhere in his disgusting little body.

He is one pitiful phony, nothing but an empty shell dressed in expensive clothes.

15. What, exactly, ARE his values?
As far as I can tell, his "adoring masses" are limited to the US only. Why is it that half of the US and the rest of the world see him for the disturbed person he is, and the "masses" are blindly following this hollow person?

17. true, he is "the most hated man on earth"
from "The Question W Revue".................

THE MOST HATED MAN ON EARTH (Rob)

HOW DOES IT FEEL TO BE
THE MOST HATED MAN ON THE EARTH?
HOW DOES IT FEEL TO KNOW
THAT THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD GAGS ON YOUR NAME?
HISTORY DOES NOT REMEMBER
PROTESTS OF SUCH MASSIVE NUMBERS.
YOU SAID YOU'D UNITE US...
HEY!
YOU GOT THAT RIGHT!

HOW DOES IT FEEL TO BE
THE MOST HATED MAN ON THE EARTH?
HOW DOES IT FEEL TO KNOW
THAT THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD THINKS YOU'RE INSANE?
YOU CAN'T SHOW YOUR FACE IN PUBLIC.
WHEN YOU SPEAK, IT'S JUST MORONIC.
STAY OUT OF TROUBLE, IN YOUR BUBBLE!

HOW DOES IT FEEL BEING YOU GEORGE?
HOW DO YOU SLEEP,
KNOWING THE LIES YOU'VE TOLD?
LIVES YOU'VE SPOILED....
DEATH, AND PAIN...
YOUR FRIENDS GAIN....
HATE AND FEAR: IT'S SO CLEAR.

HOW DOES IT FEEL BEING YOU, GEORGE?
HOW DO YOU THINK HISTORY WILL REMEMBER YOU?
YOU INHERITED YOUR POWER.
OPPOSITION GROWS EACH HOUR
FOR THE MOST HATED MAN ON THE EARTH.

HOW DOES IT FEEL TO BE
THE MOST HATED MAN ON THIS EARTH?
HOW DOES IT FEEL TO KNOW
THAT THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD WISHES YOU'D GO?
YOU HAVE FRIENDS IN CORP'RATE BOARD ROOMS,
CHRISTIAN FRINGE GROUPS LOVE YOUR COSTUMES.
IT'S NOT ENOUGH, GEORGE. TOUGH ON YA, GEORGE!
WE'RE GETTING SICK OF THAT DAMN SMIRK.
CAN YOU EXPLAIN AWAY THE SERVICE YOU SHIRKED?
WHAT YOU'RE SELLING WE'RE NOT BUYING.
AND WE WISH YOU'D GIVE UP TRYING
'CAUSE YOU'RE THE WORST PRESIDENT WE'VE EVER HAD!

inappropriate emotion ....It is a disturbing trait and is symptomatic of an underlying mental problem. I have sat in on enough of these sessions with vets being diagnosed with inappropriate behavior or reaction.

27. This was the real Bush. (m)
I had to laugh at the pundits and Bush supporters who after the debate said, "This was the real GWB", "He was "real", "candid", "himself". If this is the real Bush (smirking, laughing at inappropriate moments, painfully trying to look like he gives a shit about anything but bringing about the Rapture sooner than later) we're all fucked if he gets elected.

41. Oh come on- that would be one of them there X-ajer- a- shuns
At Thursday's debate President Bush said most of his tax cuts "went to low- and middle-income Americans."<1> That statement is flatly false.

An analysis by the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities found that, in 2004, the top 20 percent of earners received 69.8% of the tax cuts enacted by President Bush.<2> While the middle 20 percent of earners received an average tax cut of $647, the top 20 percent received an average tax cut of $5,055.<3> As a result, those in the middle class are paying a greater share of the federal taxes today than they were four years ago.<4>
