Do the Iraqis have a right to "defend themselves?"
This is the canned answer you always get when a question is asked about Israeli atrocities. Yet, no other country seems to ever be afforded that same allowance by the US, especially Iraq who was invaded and now occupied by the US. Does Venezueala, Iran, Syria have the right to defend themselves? Do they also have a right to a "pre-emptive" attack on their perceived enemies?

1. The privilege of self defense can only be granted by the United States

Opposition to this policy is terrorism.

2. No.
They invaded a defenseless Middle Eastern country for oil. They have no right to self-defense.

Hey, wait a minute...

4. What is your question?
And you can take your "Israeli atrocities" and stuff them in the appropriate orifice.

6. also notice
that no-one can ask whether the 9/11 attacks were "justified" - NOT saying they were - but everyone's happy to debate whether it was justified for the US to kill thousands of innocents in Afghanistan and more than 10,000 in Iraq apparently their deaths aren't so horrible, after all they weren't westerners and they're deaths weren't beamed around the world.

9/11 victims died at the hands of an unelected group of fundie war mongers with no legit reason to kill thousands of civilians - Iraqi and Afghan deaths occurred at the hands of an unelected group of fundie war mongers with no legit reason to kill thousands of civilians

7. No more than the Minutemen had a right to fight against the occupiers.
Of another colonial power.
