So now that we can prove there was a "firefight" O'Neil wants to change |
|
his focus to argue about whether there was only one person that Kerry went after or more than one. This man is manaical. He now admits that there was a firefight when before he said there were no guns being fired. He seemed to have taken debate lessons from the same folks who taught Bush: Just keep repeating the same lie and if you get caught, change the subject.

Watching him, I thought for a minute that I was watching that Monty Python sketch about the argument room.

2. Both accounts could be true |

If Kerry did run after a single man with a rocket launcher, by himself, then it makes sense that he would be glad that there weren't more guys there. I suspect that at the time, his first instinct was to go after the guy, and then after the incident, he probably thought to himself that it was a stupid move because he could have been ambushed. The quote that O'Neill kept mentioning doesn't preclude other people firing at the boats. It was only referring to the guy that he ran down.

3. I Thought He Was Being Specific To People With Rocket Launchers |

Thought he was saying he was glad there were no other people shooting rockets at them.
