Librarians rescue print-run of anti-Bush humor magazine "Raven"

Shades of the "Stupid White Men" controversy!

Librarians got wind of a printer's intention to back out of a deal to print a humor magazine for men called "Raven" which featured some very pointedly anti-Bush administration material. They were bombarded with so many phone calls telling them to honor the first amendment that they decided to go ahead and print the magazine.

Damn, librarians are Feisty! I love it!

I'm sure that her total service as a librarian consisted of pointing to the card catalog and saying "use the thingee over there".

Aside from this notable exception, librarians are very cool people.
