is still voting for Nader and I think he will chicken out at the voting booth.

The truth is that the media is and has been playing up Nader all year. They are constantly asking his fuckwad opinion on lots of things, and they purposely give him a stage to rag on democrats. If Nader's profile had been this big in 2000, he very well could have won the election. Think about it Nader was not allowed on shows like Leno or Letterman, the only show he got a real interview on was the then relatively unwatched Daily Show, with it's new host John Stewart. Nader blew that interview, BTW, I remember being slightly disappointed with it. The media didn't ask him shit in 2000, and there is a really good reason for that.

Bushco did not want Gore to go lefty, that would have shown America the fundamental differences that we see now between democrats and republicans. Since republicans don't believe in seperation of church and state, healthcare for the citizens of this country, our civil rights, the environment, workers rights or gay people, they most definitely didn't want Gore talking about any of those things. Gore would have kicked their fucking asses on these issues and the repigs didn't want that, cause it would be a whole lot harder to steal the election if America knew that a majority disagreed with republican ideals. The media is doing the opposite of that now and is giving him loads of time to spout his "no real difference between dems and repubs" bull shit.

I voted for Nader's stupid fuckwad, gay bashing, republican loving, satanic enabling, egomanical ass in 2000 and if you couldn't tell I regret my vote.

I feel pysically dirty for voting for Nader! If I could bitch slap him back to 2000 and take my vote back, I would. You might ask why all the anger Mel?

I'll tell you, because he does not give a shit about us. He is in league, kahootz, bed with with the repugs. He is purposely trying to give America hell, and for that fuck him.

He is getting money from anti-gay groups and racists and bible thumpers and Bushco. He is getting on shows because republicans want to put on a front of actual support for the man and it is not going to work. People now know that he is a willing participant in his farce of a campaign.

They only person in MS that is actually working for him is a racist republican asshole.

I only know one person, one fucking person that is still considering a vote for Nader and he is slightly insane and as I said earlier will probably chicken out at the booth.

So you see Nader is not a factor in this election, the polls are fixed, and the media lies.

Do not fear Nader, no one is behind him.

1. Excellent post
The Greens I know well (all 5 of them) are voting for Kerry. The last holdout admitted that Nader was getting too weird in the last couple of months for even his taste (my friend is pretty weird himself,so that says something!).

2. Many of those who voted for Nader in 2000
See the grave error of their ways after 4 years of B. My Dad was so angry at her sister for voting for Nader. I used to really admire him, but your post points out why I don't now. Interestiing thought about the 2000 reason for no show of Nader and now, they want to give him all the time he wants. I saw him several times on Politically Incorrect.

3. Nader was on Letterman tonight.

I voted for him in 2000.

I'm voting for Kerry this time.

But every time somebody attacks Nader, it gets my hackles up.

Just something about me, I guess. I don't like ad hominem attacks.

Even if the person deserves it. Attack the reason he deserves it instead of attacking him.

Please think about it for a moment. The kind of person who might vote for Nader is sick of the two party system, and doesn't like being forced into anything. The more you tell them they don't have a choice, that they have to vote for Kerry to get the chimp out, the more they think that the Nader represents a choice. You can hogtie people into choosing the lesser of two evils, but you can't make them feel comfortable doing it.

I don't think Nader is going to get many liberal votes, but the higher the level of vitriol against him, the more it frightens me. I don't want to align myself with vitriol. It is ugly and unattractive. It might make some people feel good to spew anger and hate and fear, but I kinda hope they're mostly pukes.

If we really don't have any positive message with which to counter Nader, that's too bad. I think we do. Kerry and Edwards think we do. The chimp's campaign has to resort to negative ads and smears because they don't have anything good to say for themselves. That's not us.
