Farenheit 9/11 pulled by pay-per-view
Just heard on CNN (yeah I know): The pay-per-view channel which had planned to show F9/11 on the night before the election, has changed its mind, and will not be offering the documentary. MM is considering suing. Wonder who got to them, hmmm?

1. Ok, then let's move it to PBS. No commercials.
Most people get PBS. Maybe George Soros could give them some $$$ to help with the cost. I don't know about anyone else, but I like my idea. ;)

3. "let's"....as in US??? Which station is it that you own??
Sorry to be sarcastic, but WE have NO say in anything that airs.. It's all about the "money guy$"... Sadly, "most" guys who own TV stations are RICH REPUBLICANS...

and PBS has to snivel and grovel on their knees, before repube congresscritters to get money to operate..

We are in a LOSE-LOSE situation here, regarding the airing or non-airing of any show...

2. So let Moore get a network or cable slot for it.
Yeah, he wouldn't make as much money (and I DO completely support him making money) but I'm sure either a network or a cable station would be happy to air it in a non-PPV format.

7. Didn't he offer to do that? I don't think he owns the rights. Lions Gate
does.

8. Ahhh, I'd forgotten that.

Unfortunately, that may prevent airing it. You're right.

Maybe Soros could make it worth their while??

6. What I want to know is
why the hell do these companies ALWAYS kowtow to the repukes and NEVER to the Democrats who scream about their bias? I'm sick of this shit! I think we should bombard Pay Per View with emails and phone calls. What kind of threats did they get from the government? I know KKKRove threatened CNN with an SEC investigation back when the chimp was running for office or right after he was appointed by the SCOTUS. They were reporting on the chimp's AWOL issue and KKKRove put a stop to it. We HAVE to stop this crap.

9. I dunno - That may be just fine in the long run

Combined with buzz from the new Nightline piece that aired last night, the Sinclair protests, and MM getting coverage about the decision NOT to air F-911, it gives the whole thing an unfair under-dog aura. Thats contraversy, and thats a good thing for getting public attention.

Add to that, all the copies of F-911 on the shelves at video stores, and those copies circulating between friends, it could very well be - to quote Martha :) - A Good Thing.

10. I agree, make it big news that its being pulled....
Meanwhile Repuke owned Sinclair pre-empts and forces their stations to show a Kerry bashing dribble piece over and over.

Maybe some people with a brain will be able to finally figure out what's happening to our media. Maybe...
