GOP chief goes to ACLU for help in yard sign case
Oh the irony.

http://www.cleveland.com/printer/printer.ssf?/base/summit/1097832760167812.xml

The city has filed a complaint against the Arshinkoffs because they have a 32-square-foot Bush-Cheney sign in their yard. The city's ordinances for temporary yard signs allow a maximum of eight square feet.

"They can put me in jail," Alex Arshinkoff said Thursday. "I'm not taking it down."

Asked how he felt about being represented by the ACLU - a group that sometimes champions liberal causes - Arshinkoff said, "They are good people. I haven't always agreed with all their stances."

The nonprofit ACLU does not charge its clients fees. The Arshinkoffs sought ACLU representation.

5. I love the ACLU............and I always look twice at myself
When they defend something that I hate! It's a good anti-hypocrisy exercise.

7. Proof the ACLU has integrity.
I define integrity as standing by your principles even when it may not be in your best interest to do so. THe Republican party will never thank the ACLU for this, but they will have at least done the right thing in defending these two.

8. Triv Show in CCCleveland used to play the monologue from
"The American President", where Michael Douglas spouts off a diatribe about how you stand up for the right of someone's free speech even though what the person is saying pisses you off and makes your blood boil. Essentially saying that THAT defines freedom of speech.

Now, where we differ from the freep speechers is that we want the standards set by the Repukes to be applied equally to the very same Repukes.

Triv quit using that clip for the longest time, surfacing on extremely rare occasions, since he started seeing his fraudulant stock options from conning people into buying up .cc domains. Funny how Clear Channel doesn't even have the .cc domain name, since they were the ones who were pushing for it.

Hmm, CCCleveland - Like that? Stands for Clear Channel Cleveland. WTAM, WGAR, WMMS, WONE, WMJI, etc.
