Sorry, if anyone here has ever even tried phone polling you know what I am talking about. With caller ID and answering machines no body answers the good damn phone anymore if they do not recognize your number.

If anyone has ever taken a statistics class, then you know that polls are bull shit anyway, they are easy to manipulate and easy to modify.

4 out of 5 dentists, literally is 4 out of 5, not 80% of dentists as they would have you believe. They can resample until the get the result they want.

Zogby can suck my ass, he has been wrong plenty of times and just because he kinda sorta called it for Gore in 2000 doesn't mean shit and if you think for a second that he is above being bought off or loving on the repukes you should talk to his friend Rush.

Get out there and actually fucking talk to people and you will find plenty of really pissed of Americans, it is not half and half. Bushco has maybe 35% of this country. Gores 48% is John Kerry's FLOOR not his ceiling, unless of couse you know an assload of dems voting for Bush and I do not know even one.

We know that even Zogby is polling like their will be equal voter turn out of dems and republicans, why would they assume that when Democrats are out registering republicans from 10 to 1 in Ohio, to 5 to 1 in Florida, and atleast 2 to one every where else. These people are not getting polled and they sure as fuck aren't voting Bush.


Polls are bull shit and the more credibility you give them the weaker we become.

Wake up DUers! None of the media or the pollsters are on our side.

With the exception of Jon Stewart and Keith Olberman.

3. I don't understand this Zogby method

of people signing up to be in his polls. WTF is that?

Wouldn't a real poll be like this:

a computer spits out 5,000 random telephone numbers that could be anywhere in the country.

Then you call as many people as you need to until you get 1,000 responses, then ignore the remaining phone numbers and you have your poll.

Fugg all this "weight" stuff, and how many Repuglicans you called and how many Democrats you called.

4. Here. I'll give you some more material to show the flaws in polling.

According to the University of Michgan's 2002 National Election Studies ...

30% of voters identify themselves as Republicans ("strong" or "weak")
34% of voters identify themselves as Democrats ("strong" or "weak")

Yet the pollsters "normalize" likely voters with exactly the opposite weightings.
