8. Contrast her attitude with that of the reporters covering B* |
|
The reporters covering B* are typically cheerful and positive -- and hardly distinguishable from an official campaign spokesperson.
While the Dems get dour, depressing detractors covering their candidate.
Loving the media.

4. If you were as ugly as she was--you'd be bummed out too! |
|
Edited on Fri Oct-15-04 12:06 PM by scmirage
I mean, it goes beyond her weight problem (I'm not exactly svelte myself) but she's just. . . plain, and that's putting it kindly. And oh yeah, her boy Shrub is about to take a beating from Kerry come Nov. 2nd--I guess that's why she's so depressed. I don't really see either Kerry or Edwards flirting with her the way Shrub does and giving her cute little nicknames!

CNN's Bush coverage almost always start with a voice over as W triumphantly walks on stage....
cut to Candy -dour sad looking actually frowning like a goth funeral usually outside post event with no one to be seen behind her or beside the bleachers so you can't see the pumped up crowd- "Wolf Senator Kerry tried to take on PRESIDENT Bush on his record on ...... campaign officials think that this might work..."
Something like that

16. let's party like it's Nov. 2000! |
|
great comment.
it's seems the "corporate" media have a caveat on anything that comes from the "other side".
grovel grovel, all hail Satan!
umm, I mean, Enron bless shrub, that good Christian man who hates fags & abortion (just like us good christins) and who will not stray from doing the lords work by executing over 115 people as Governor of Texas... And will complete the "war on terrah" even though nothing else has happened since he screwed over his old "brother" Bin Laden in that oil pipeline deal --and he got pissed and hit back...
No, better to believe that some evil boogymen are comin' to take your bible, turn your daughter into a Lesbian and blow up your local VFW, because "they hate you for your freedom"...
Forget about *Bush, drugs & alcohol, those are just filthy but true rumors used by lazy welfare queens with cadillacs who want hard earned Halliburton money.
Hallelujia, barzka zeela babbaloligesortzs!
And please, don't beleive those evil democrats who say that *shrub is just the front man for the con-serve-yourself to the taxpayers money party, no, that would be too simple.

maybe she is just unhappy about her weight. I just put on an extra 15 and im not happy about it, so maybe thats it.
Either way cnn needs to get someone with more energy covering the kerry campaign.

12. she knows her boy is going down... |
|
Remember how stricken she looked when CNN called Florida for Gore? Her facial expressions lately have approached that - I can't wait for election night 2004, when that large pasty face once again quivers in grief, this time FOR REAL.
Actually, she was much worse in 2000 covering Gore (and, briefly, Bush). She's toned it down a little lately, and I think it might in part be the complaining we've done to CNN about having this GOP tart on the Kerry trail. We have to keep after her - and CNN - when she pulls Repuke crap out of her ass, like finding mythical Democrats who will be voting for Bush this year. Don't let off on the pressure - she's by far the WORST GOP shill on broadcast media today.

Candy is a special case, of course, because she's a full-tilt True Believer. I once read a bio of her that related how she was so poleaxed by Clinton's defeat of Dole in '96 that she took a leave of absence from CNN to recover...

after the third debate, CNN was doing the "who won" thing -- they went to Crowely and the look on her face said everything! She looked utterly deflated -- she knew Georgie had just given America a real stinker.
These days, it's as if she is presiding over a wake.
We can only hope. :)
