The DOD has specifically disavowed any inclination to count Iraqi civilian deaths, in spite of arguments that such a policy might help make war more humane. (Yikes, what a concept). Use this link to keep abreast of what happens when you use jets and tanks to chase individuals who might have a fertilizer bomb, maybe in that house or that car.

This website counts Iraqi Civilian Deaths.
