Who's "outing" hurt more- Mary Cheney or Valerie Plame?

Considering that everyone who knew of Mary Cheney should have known she was openly gay and no one knew Valerie Plame was a CIA agent until Novak spilled the beans, I vote Plame.

Besides, it's not a national security violation to say Mary Cheney is a lesbian. It is to leak the name of a CIA operative.

Valerie was publically exposed and that her career is ruined, I'd say this was the more devastating revelation. Lynne was already out and anybody who read even one news periodical a week would know that. It's the histrionic reaction from the Republicans that's keeping this on top of the news, nothing else.
