Proof the pen is mightier than the sword

So many people I know are talking about how Michael Moore and authors and books and movies are changing their lives and their perspectives of the world around them. Of course, these are all people like us, open-minded and wanting to know the truth. I think that the entertainment industry, the publishing industry and independent artists really are making a huge impact on politics, some more obvious than others, and that the average Joe and Jane always respond to the messages of truth when it comes in the form of art, music, books, movies, etc... My mom was changed spiritually from F-911, as were many I know who watched the movie, and now my mom wants to read every book on the subject of 9-11 and the Iraq war...and she is just one of many...

So, artists, musicians, writers, performers - speak the truth. The pen is truly mightier than the sword, and always will be.
