I was sitting in a restaurant tonight, after spending the day agonising over whether or not to forward something I received by accident.
I'm thinking that it's 1933. The Weimar Republic is falling apart around me. In my hands is something that I think might prevent Hitler from rising to power, but I'm not sure if it's legitimate or not. It could have been sent to me as a red herring - something to make everyone on the 'left' look bad, if it was exposed as a fake.
If this is a fake and it was sent to me maliciously, because the person who sent it knew I would send it on to the opposition, then my side will, yet again, be exposed to charges that we are manufacturing something to expose our opponents.

We've had our Reichstag Fire (9/11), followed ever since with the jingoism out of our office of misinformation (Leni Riefenstahl, Joseph Goebbels eat your hearts out), and then last year, our blitzkrieg invasion of Poland (Iraq).

There are lots of 'free' wireless access points all over.
The "knife party" link is, as I stated, a large file. It is an great graphic heavy piece that lays out the PNAC plans from a progressive point of view. The QuickTime movie that is the centerpiece of the site takes a lot of time to download. It is possible to read about the piece without downloading it.
I do suggest that you read the opening post.
And maybe, just maybe, I'm an 'affluent Dem', but hey, I made a suggestion, not a demand.

It is also possible to open the other links without a high speed connection.

And here's a thought - I'm personally sick and tired, and VERY DISCOURAGED at the lack of understanding of people who type in caps, don't read a whole post and assume that a poster is not being 'inclusive'. As my dad used to say, 'Don't get your bowels in an uproar.'
