Updated "Plan B" if Bush wins or steals

Here is what I will do and hope everybody else here will do if Bush wins or steals the election:

Become a monthly donor to the ACLU

Become a monthly donor to People For the American Way (I jumped the gun and am already donating monthly to this one, but I will increase my donation if Bush wins)

Contact the 6 moderate-to-progressive Supreme Court justices and let them know how important they are and that we need them. We could all ask them if they could hang on for 4 years. 2 years might even be enough if we can get a Democratic majority in there in 2006 to block the extremist nominees.

Contact Democrats and progressives in the House and Senate and ask them to band together and do whatever it takes to block any right-wing justices.

If we all band together and do all of these things should Bush win or steal, I think we will make a huge statement. Even a $5 monthly donation to the civil liberties groups would make a huge impact if a large number of us did it and told them the reason why. Just imagine the ACLU and PFAW offices being flooded with calls from people who wanted to donate due to the election outcome!

I want us to defeat the right-wing. It's going to happen one way or another. Either Kerry gets elected on Nov. 2nd, or Plan B goes full throttle!! Who's with me??

and I will increase my donation if * wins. Maybe I will increase it even if he doesn't! But this will definitely be a good direction to go in - better than other activities. Good idea!

I think there will be a lot of protesting if * wins.

2. There is no way he will win if everyone can get to the polls...

and have their votes counted. If he steals it again, there's only one thing to do:

Let's see if the Bush voters can run this economy without our help.
