NCR Column - interesting read.
Has anyone posted this column here?

http://www.nationalcatholicreporter.org/fwis/fw093004.htm

This is a sister who writes for the NCR and her viewpoints are outstanding. Click on archives and you can read all of her pieces. I was shocked to find this, but am glad I did.

4. Thanks for the link. Sometimes I feel that we are living in a giant gulag
in this country...hardly ever getting the news of what is really happening. If we had only the mainstream press to rely on, that is. It's sad how the rest of the world can see so clearly what is going on. Sad--and encouraging--that they still believe in America as an ideal. Hopefully enough of that America is still there for us to believe in again too, come November.
