3. it was a very short clip, as usual, but
particular words were muted, single words, here and there. the one i *remember was kerry saying something bush was doing was "wrong", with the word "wrong" muted. nothing before or after the clip or of crowley's words during the clip were muted.
*i picked up on that particular muted word because it was similar to what kerry has said before. i hope someone on du can back me up. i know what i heard and didn't hear.

10. Sorry, I can't because I became so agitated that I lost it.
It was Kerry saying "...and that's 'wrong'.", with the word 'wrong' being muted (not bleeped out, just muted). At least one or two other words were muted in that very short clip. it happened. :(

2. I think I know what you're talking about
I had CNN on while I was posting here....blah blah in the background. They played the interview during Aaron Brown's show and I was already pissed off at how she was interviewing him. No one asks idiotballs a hardball question and I thought she was disrespectful.

Then I heard it again during Paula Zahn. The same Crowley interview, but it was different. Not different questions, but the answers altered. Didn't know if I just wasn't paying attention.

5. what we're getting is glimpses of kerry whereby you blink you miss them!
and even those short glimpses are being sabotaged! i am extremely upset about all of what's going on in this corporate-monopoly media, and this particular transgression was almost "unbelievable"!
i know where fox is coming from but embarrassed to say i do not know where the blatant-bias is coming from within cnn. anyone?

4. I saw the full interview and the edited piece and Crowley really cut out
alot and made his replies which were originally quite straightforward and complete seem like nonanswers.

7. Candy
totally ruined Kerry's interview (which when aired live was very good). But she has now edited it to water down the good! she is worthless!

9. All the networks and cables screw with the AUDIO of Dems no shit
Edited on Sat Oct-16-04 09:39 AM by T Bone
for some reason. The speech at AARP yesterday. Kerry sounded like he was talking into a bucket, that is how bad the audio was, there was a hum and crackle in it as well. Pay attention. They have been doing this with Democratic AUDIO for a few months AT LEAST. Then when Bush or either of the Cheneys is on ---full, smooth, clear, AUDIO.

I thought it was just me hearing it. But pay attention you will HEAR a difference, and it is not favorable to us. It is a subliminal way of making the Democratic message fuzzy and unclear !!

I have mentioned it before on these boards, now I see others are hearing it as well.

they take down the AUDIO of Kerry's crowds as well. Next clip you see you will hear lots of clapping and cheering from the Bush minions, they are taking the cheering and noise of Kerry's crowds OUT of the AUDIO.

11. every single thing you've said is exactly what i've been experiencing, and
it's disgusting! thank you for validating what i've been experiencing. i was torn as to whether or not to post what happened this morning but it was bad and obvious, and i was so outraged.

out for a minute).

I did not notice any of Kerry's words being muted. I think I MAY know what you're talking about, IF CNN picked a certain clip:

Kerry was asked about Iraq. Kerry explained what he always does, that he was correct to give the Prez the authority 'cause that's what he needs to go against Saddam. All Saddam understands is force, so Bush needed the full force of the Congress behind him. But Bush did not use diplomacy, gather a real coalition, etc., that he should have. In the middle of Kerry's answer, Kerry says something like (I'm making up the words, since I can't recall them, but it's the structure of the sentence that counts), "Look, it wasn't wrong...the intelligence should have ......"

What did Kerry mean? Well, he stopped his sentence in midstream and changed sentences....he didn't finish the sentence, "It wasn't wrong...." We've all done that. Kerry, in particular, does this a lot. He starts to say a sentence, stops, then says, "Look...." and says the thought another way.

I thought to myself, "Now, if someone sees that clip alone without the following sentence or the prior sentence, it will look like Kerry is saying that Bush wasn't wrong; the listener won't know it was one of Kerry's unfinished sentences that he went on to say another way. The pause between the two sentences wasn't long enough to catch that, unless you heard the prior and next sentences, too, to know the thought."

I am guessing that that is the clip that was chosen to air? Just guessing. If I see the clip, I'll post here.

15. Request the raw footage the clip was edited from
Raw, unedited footage of that event.

See if they'll do that for you.

If they've misquoted or taken out of context, then ask for correction.

It won't happen but it will let them know people realize what's going on.
