Any poll that you see with Kerry under 48% is complete bullshit! How many Gore voters do you know that are voting for Bush?

I don't know one! Not one fucking person! But I know at least 20+ Bush voters that are now voting Kerry.

The polls are bull shit, meant to condition you into accepting four more years, we really should call them on it.

They need America to think that it is close so they can steal it again.

Way to help them out, DUers.

1. I hope you're right, but....
look at Wisconsin, which Gore won by about 5,000 votes. It's tilting Bush right now. Don't be so sure that no Gore voters will go Bush. I have seen other polls indicating some are.

3. Correction the polls say wisconson is leaning Bush, that doesn't
make it so.

Have you ever tried phone polling, with caller ID, cell phones, and answering machines, nobody answers the phone for people they don't know.

Polls are shit.

4. And 94,000 Nader voters
They would have had to have been doing forced lobotomies for Wisconsin to go to Bush.

6. The Zogby poll from last week
had Kerry up by 6 in Wisconsin. I'm a Cubs fan and I know how to fear the worst, also, but NO ONE who voted Gore will vote Bush. That you can count on. There are also millions of new voters not included in whatever (push)poll is being taken. Hope your guys win tonight!

2. Oh there are a few
The "9/11 changed everything crowd" of Ed Koch, Ron Silver and some fat guy in Georgia I saw profiled on Dateline many months ago, but they are dwarfed by Bush defectors, Nader voters coming home and new voters. So it's all about turnout.

7. You our right.
Would it be fair to say more people hate Bush now than they did 2000.

8. yes! but an equally important question is whether
more people hate Kerry than hated Gore. That's the relevant one for this discussion.

10. Why on earth would Dems hate John Kerry more than Bush
Under Bush the price of everything has gone up
4 million more people don't have healthcare
4.8 million more people are now in poverty
people's local taxes have gone up
the education system is an even bigger mess
the people that do have jobs on average make $9,000 less a year
we are in an illeagal war, that we are lossing BTW
the entire world hates us

11. some just do....I can't explain lunacy...
for example, some Massachusetts Dems hate him. And not all Gore voters in 2000 were Dems -- and that's what we're discussing -- Gore switchers to Bush. Not many. But not none.

12. Are you saying Kerry is the winner?
I wished I could say that. But I can't.

To do so would allow me to be complacent and be unprepared for the unthinkable. Yes, the polls could be shit, but they may not be, there may be some merit in their numbers.

The only poll that really matters is the one tba 7pm Nov. 2. And it had best say that Kerry got 5 million more votes than you know who. That way, the election cannot be stolen.

So, how do we get the 5 million number? Get everyone to vote. That's the only way we can prove the polls are wrong.

13. Most people I know
know a vote for Bush is a vote for civil war and are finding ways to get out of the country if he wins.
