What should I do??
I live on cul-de-sac so putting up a Kerry/EdwARDS SIGN DIDN'T MAKE SENSE TO ME. Sorry about CAPS--too many beers and fat fingers. Anyways, two of my idiot neighbors who I get along with, put up Bush/Cheney signs. It really annoys me.

Should I put up a giant Kerry edwards sign, a small one, ten of them, or just wait till Kerry is President-elect to put one up. If I see one more up I will put one up no matter what. This irritates me to no end. I HATE HATE HATE that Shrub and his evil henchman. I still say Ashcroft has sex with monkeys.

1. Do what I'm going to do.
Now that the signs are going up on my road (rural), I do know who the Bush/Cheney supporters are. I am going to go for a walk next week and deliver a few pages of the PNAC agenda to them in their mailboxes.

7. Mailboxes
Don't put the PNAC info in the mailbox--- it is against the law.

8. It may be against the law but people in my area do it all the time.
We do all know each other casually. If I have to put stamps on it and send it through the Post Office I will. As a matter-of-fact that will save me walking on my bad foot. I still know who they are and they will get mail.

2. Put up *three* Kerry signs...
Our road (very, very rarely traveled) was non-partisan for a long time. Once I saw one B/C sign go up, we had two Kerry signs up within 24 hours.

DEFINITELY put at least one Kerry sign up. At least don't let people think Shrub has a monopoly on your cul-de-sac!

Go, now! Get those signs up!

3. Whatever you do, check local signage ordinances first.
Your options may be limited.

4. Be proud, put your sign up
See my thread in the lounge. I am going to put up my sign even though I am nervous about my landlord's reaction. Why should they get to express their opinion and you don't? Be proud to support Kerry.

5. Don't get me wrong either...
Me and my wife are proud to support Kerry--it just seemed like it made so much more sense to save the signs for a place outside of a cul-de-sac. I have never seen a political sign in this neighborhood in 5 years.

10. my (indirect) landlord's a Republican
But I'm being left alone about it--he is so happy to have a tenant who isn't causing trouble and has actually added some value to the property that he doesn't care. He actually joked with my neighbor who is also his tenant about the sign war we were going to have (landlord lives around the corner).

6. Same here.
No signs up, new neighbor puts B/C sign up literally the day they moved in. They hadn't met any of us yet, and I don't give a fig if I ever meet them. Their actions said it all. If you put any up it just becomes a pissing contest at this point; better to do something more constructive, like phone banking or driving folks to vote.
