Therefore one cannot link Kerry in anyway to the troops not having what they need. The vote passed, the money was authorized AND OUR TROOPS STILL DID NOT GET WHAT THEY NEEDED TO PROTECT THEMSELVES.
The Bush administration has mismanaged the funds and left our troops in the lurch. They were in the lurch BEFORE the vote for 87 B.

Whenever anyone brings up Kerry's votes against anything (usually for very good reasons)just ask them if the measure he voted against was defeated or passed. If it was passed, what's the beef? His votes didn't hurt the cause. If it wasn't passed, it means that there were many more people in the Senate (useually Republicans) who also voted against the measure and brought it todefeat. Unless Kerry cast one of the two deciding votes this crap is total bullshit!

3. That's precisely my point. It's Bush admin fault if troops are ill-armed
Bush is President, not Kerry. There is no Dem running anything in this country since the 2000 election.

2. Here's the sure fire way to stop any crap about $87B dead in its tracks:
Ask them if they know how much of that the administration* has actually sent to Iraq.

Answer: $3 billion. A lousy $3 billion. And half of that went to pay insurance and liability.

24.

4. Facts don't matter -
if Bush and the RW blathers say Kerry did it to flip-flop on his position because Howard Dean was winning, it must be true. From the lips of god on earth - I am beginning to see how so many rulers were able to make themselves deities to their people throughout history. Vote Republican - It is Easier than Thinking.
