"January Surprise"....a horror story |
|
Edited on Sun Oct-17-04 09:13 AM by mopaul
timing is everything, and so is pre-emptive planning by the neonazis in the white house. if and when bush loses re-election, and i use that term academically, he still has till jan. 20th to play president.
if that ain't a horror story in the making i don't know what is. think of the hell they could unleash for Kerry, and that's all they have to do really, like they did to Bill. they see liberals, not al quada as a threat to their power and money lust.
screw the october surprise, the january surprise worries me more.

1. He'll attack Iran and refuse to give up the WH. |
|
Pres Kerry will have to call in the Marines to dig him out.

3. I am not sure which is my greatest fear. Bush* winning or |
|
Bush losing.
I have been watching a DVD on the history of Russia, and few things stuck in my mind. That leaders will kill their own people to retain power and that they will destroy what they have (burning of Moscow after Napolean's victory)to prevent the victor from enjoying the spoils.
I have no reason to believe that the human race has evolved much beyond that, and the Bush Administration is no exception.

6. On this I have to agree, |
|
In fact I don't think al-quada has to lift a finger anymore, all they have to do now is just sit back and watch what happens. And we all know who we can thank for that. * has played right into their hands.

7. What's worse, they leave "time bombs" |
|
The Bay of Pigs was a 'time bomb' left for the Kennedy Adminstration. Waco was a 'time bomb' left for Clinton. The Iran Hostages was a sort of 'reverse time bomb' that Reagan preempted against Carter.
There is absolutely no principle underlying their behavior other than self-preservation and greed,

9. Reverse time bomb? Reagan merely spun the facts to look better than Carter |
|
A pity. Reagan's victory meant the birth of our death.

10. Nope. It's all but proven that Reagan agents arranged for ... |
|
... the hostages to be held until the inauguration and were complicit in their imprisonment merely in order to deprive Carter of any credit whatsoever.

8. Maybe Martial law is more likely in January. |
|
I was thinking all along that it might be used to stop the elections. A confrontation with North Korea, Iran, or a major terror atrtack coould easily cause them to proclaim that a transfer of power would be too dangerous.
Thanks Mopaul, I needed that like a hole in the head!
