I've never experienced anything like this before, and it bothers me that I'm reacting this way.

4. I snarl and make gutteral noises
my face gets all contorted, it's an intinctual reaction. Can't get any more visceral than that. I was not even aware of how intense it was until my granddaughter asked why I was making faces at that car.

Saw on the other day and actually had my keys out of pocket and began a fake keying of the damned sticker. Shocking reaction that I'll not soon forget.

Now, if they do steal this election, I worry about the possible severe reactions.

7. Yes, and it fits so perfectly
...with their "I got mine; screw the rest of you" mentality.

For every small car or mini-van I have seen with a "W" sticker, there are probably 20 SUVs. My daughter and I did a random count on a walk through town and on the drive there and back. Every vehicle that had a BC04 or a W on it was an SUV - there wasn't a pickup truck, passenger car, mini-van, or small car among them.

10. would you feel the same if it were a K/E sticker?
I have three K/E stickers on my SUV. I get some what annoyed to the reactions on SUV in DU. Not that I should have to explain but I have one because of convenience. It is not a Hummer or one of those gigantic 8 person things. It is a six cylinder which seats 5 comfortable and has a cargo hold in back. I have a kid who along with her friends takes up that space and we also have a big dog who rides in back. I am constantly doing thing around the house which require hauling materials such as flowers, shrubs rocks etc from the home improvement stores and gardening places. It has saved me from spending money to get things delivered. Also live in a snowy, mountainous part of the state and have to get to places like work and clients whether the weather is good or bad.

Yes, people have legitimate reasons for owning SUVs.

But I question the need for a Hummer.

I couldn't help but picture a fox with a "free range chicken is best" sign around it's neck.

I make the "You gotta little DICK" sign at them. Even the women. Doubt they're smart enough to reflect on their latent penis envy, but oh, well, if they were smart they wouldn't be using an Urban Assault Vehicle to go to "Curves" anyway...

Justify your UAV any way you please, you'll never convince me that you drive it for anything other than the thrill you get from driving the next biggest thing on the road.
You should seek help for that condition, before it escalates and you trade your Exploder for a Navistar CVT....

I'm still aghast at the quote under the picture of the H-2 in the "Peak Oil" issue of National Geographic:
"...Besides, anything I bump into, I WIN..."

23. They have made "W" into a symbol of all they believe and I find this
very disturbing. It reminds me of a swastika or a cross, where just a simple symbol carries such emotional and idealogical weight.

It is more black and white, simplistic thinking, like summing up the complete war on terror by saying, "They hate us for our freedom," and sadly, many non-thinking people buy this. They have now packaged "W" in this same way, and I think it is a disturbing trend.

It's a perfectly sound and reasonable reaction in the face of such myopic overwhelming greed and ignorance. 49. Supporting Bush seems obscene to me
He's going down anyway, so they're riding a loser. I am amused by those who sport around in their SUVs. Being a loan officer at a savings and loan, I witnessed the way most of the applicants who drove those big gas hogs, were in debt up to their hocks and could barely qualify for a real estate loan. They truly set their priorities a lot differently than most of us; hence supporting Bush.
