30 dead soldiers this week ... this shit is reminding me of Viet Nam.

This was what it was like. Thirty or forty a week. Some weeks more, some less but Jesus Christ they add up. And what is Bush saying? Kerry is a liberal.

Is this rat-bastard stuck in the 80s or what? Do these motherfuckers ever LOOK at what they are doing? As the Grand Wurlitzer spun us up to war, my impression of these evil, fetid demons ... these so-called neocons ... was that they are little more than fragile old cowards who thirst for the blood of our children. Nothing as disabused me of that notion.

Da nada.

I do not know if you, Dear Reader, believe in such things like heaven or hell but please believe this: if there is such a thing, Beelzebub will indeed have a devil put aside for each of these soul-fuckers, devils that will torture them through eternity. If instead, kharma rules the universe, I truly would not want to be in the same hemispere with these despicable bags of pus, phelgm, and shit when their kharma gets leveled.

For the rest of you, all you can hope for is that justice is rendered on this earth and at this time and in this place.

2. "This was what it was like. Thirty or forty a week."
Yeah, in '65. A lot more after that.

3. We're headed for Johnny Cash-like numbers.
I wear the black in mournin' for the lives that could have been,
Each week we lose a hundred fine young men.

4. If we continue to lose 30 a week for another year it will be
1,560 more dead soldiers. That would put the total
at over 2,600 dead soldiers and many many thousands
more who are amputees or sustain other physically impaired
injuries. Many are blind, deaf, and horribly scarred for
life.

All for nothing but to remove a two bit dictator so
furious george to settle an old score.

5. And as sad as those dying
are many of those living. Horribly disfigured, with lost limbs, ailments that we yet to put a name too and PTSD and other psychological disorders. They will remind us for the next 40 years and then, like VietNam, we'll forget and get led down this path again.

6. My hatred is deep for this admin..
and I feel your anger and frustration too..with my nephews in Iraq, my own son having to worry about a draft, and maybe my teenaged daughter too...Makes me sick.

Amazing how apathetic some people can be, when they dont have a vested interest, other than their stupid rw rhetoric. Or worse, like those women yesterday cryin and fawning all over shrub because they are afraid that if they face the truth, then the lie thier husbands were sent there for will burst their bubble.

fuck them all.

7. My son is in the Navy and
I have a daughter who is 23 and, I suppose, subject to the whims of these disgraceful sacks of shit.

It is a sad, sad state of affairs when Jon Stewert and his Howard Beale moment gains no notice except as an oddity from these distant, perfumed, pampered assholes who so control our national discourse.
