Eleven Hundred Dead (and invisible)
there has been no mention of them on any of the sunday morning talk shows. None. Nada.
This is worse than Vietnam.

2. They know...
they know that this is Viet-Nam, Part 2 or is it 3. They are afraid to tell us because all they have focused on during this campaign is thirty years ago.

3. I believe-
I have to believe- that this will change, that this week the media will be spending more time on Iraq. The debates are over. The news in Iraq is overwhelmingly bad. Thirty soldiers died this week. The green zone was suicide bombed. I think next week will an Iraq intensive week. It certainly should be. It's disgusting, reprehensible, and nigh on unforgiveable that the boobs on the Sunday shows are not addressing this.

4. support the troops, honor the dead, shut the fuck up, stay the course,
everything is fine, democracy is spreading, we're turnin' the corner, our resolve is strong, we will finish the job.

these are not men in the general sense, these are demons.
