and will be attending one of the training sessions next weekend. They had a conference call last week; it sounds like a very good, very organized project. I am excited about it and hope I can do my little bit to be sure people really get to vote.

I'll be calling in for conference call training on Wed. Have to go get signed up for Absentee tomorrow. Did you get something in your own state...or will you be traveling?

so I don't have to travel. I get to work in my own city (Minneapolis/St. Paul). No touch-screen machines here, but our deeply evil Republican secretary of state has been doing everything she can to screw up the voter database. To make matters even more complicated, MN has same-day registration, and I fully expect the Repukes to complicate that process, too. It will be an interesting day.
