it bugged me the whole time...for instance:

1)the 'reshaping' of his face to look arab

2)'durka-durkaStan'

3)the way the arabs spoke gibberish "hukka mukka muhammed jihad"

4) the asians mixing L's and R's and W's.

1. Uh, newsflash: it's supposed to be.
Parker & Stone try to offend people.

2. i take it you don't watch much south park

it's just convention. they play up stereotypes, etc. For example, the only black kid in town is named "Token."
It's not that they're racist. They're trying to get under the skin of the politically correct and overly sensitive.

6. Hollywood Racism
The racism portrayed in the film is meant to be that of mainstream Hollywood. They make Gary up to be a Middle-eastern terrorist, and all they do is slap some dark makeup on him, random beard fragments, and a bath towel on his head. The terrorists speak the only words Hollywood -- and by extension, many Americans -- think they speak: Jihad, Muhammad, Dirka. Don't confuse racism with commentary on racism, which it is, in this case. True Lies this ain't.

7. What struck me the line it drew with the whole gay issue
The movie held back few barbs...but after showing a series of straight sex situations, wouldn't cross that line and actually show the actor-warrior going down on the boss-man. We saw his face, and his smile, and heard a description, but I guess it was a line even Trey couldn't cross in 2004.
