FBI catches teenage"Worm" hacker, ignores REPUKE voting machine hackers |
|
Edited on Sat Aug-30-03 12:24 AM by TruthIsAll
It was splattered all over CNBC today. A veritable psychological profile of this "lone" misfit who might have caused tremendous havoc in the blackout. And on and on they went about the threat of TEENAGE hackers to our economy and way of life.
Not a word about the ADULTS who hack our elections. What's the FBI doing about this?

6. You caught that too? He only did a VARIANT! |
|
This kid wasn't the Blaster creator. He copied the virus and altered it slightly.
The AV dats were still catching his variant. The kid didn't do anything of note, but he will pay a huge price. What's worse for him is he won't even get the respect of the underground computer community because they're smart enough to know what he did was miniscule.

Was there even *one* FBI agent assigned to investigate election frauds in 2000 or 2002? There was supposed to be investigation of the Florida mess at least, wasn't there? There were credible allegations of civil rights (voting rights) infringements. So that would bring in the FBI, no? I guess I wouldn't hold my breath for the FL a.g. to be on the case, but just for appearance's sake, one would have thought....
I'm enraged all over again. (And wonder how I could have failed to notice the absence of any investigations. Guess I was distracted by all the other horrible things that have been happening non-stop since then.) You've made an excellent point!

5. And, inspite of a teenager's ability to hack the Internet... |
|
...we are being pushed into Internet voting. That's what comes after the Touch Screens are in place and people accept that step into digital voting.
And, Oh, the SERVE overseas/military voting project? It's all Microsoft based. If the Internet doesn't hack this vote then Rumsfeld probably will, what with all those votes going into servers at the Pentagon. Oh, wait a minute, that's supposed to be OK, the servers are owned by Accenture. Guess that makes it all better.;-)
