Apparently it's okay for a rightwing pundit to basically call a straight man (with a wife and kids to also be hurt) a "FAGGOT" simply for having a less than macho demeanor, but for John Kerry to commend Mary Cheney for being true to herself is "cheap, tawdry".

Okay, go figure.

For the record, I didn't think it was the wisest comment, since it was redundant to what Edwards already said. I think it just slipped out. Since it wasn't a pre-planned point, I don't see how it could be "tawdry".
