They just did it AGAIN. Bush delivering "important policy speech"
Edited on Mon Oct-18-04 12:58 PM by Cat Atomic
on CNN, MSNBC and Fox, and it's turning out to be nothing but a stump speech.

*edit* I thought MSNBC had cut away from it but they're still covering it.

1. Good for MSNBC
The other "news" stations had to have known, it is just silly to think * has anything new to say.

4. My mistake- they must've cut away on accident or something because
the speech came right back. No big commericial break.

3. This is nothing, NOTHING more than a campaign rally!!
Edited on Mon Oct-18-04 12:32 PM by VolcanoJen
He's leading the crowd in a "YES!" "NO!" chant!

Always a cheerleader, I suppose.

:grr:

14. Isn't it funny how he always has a crowd that sounds like
Parliament only with more positive chants.

If the majority of people would only realize how handpicked his crowds are they would realize it's just a carefully organized and planned pep rally.

5. No leadership- just fear mongering, blame and denial
Wonder if MSNBC will cut him off mid-sentence like they did with Kerry this morning and let a commentator take over instead.

OH, I forgot, Bush speaks in slogans only, not in complete sentences making logical arguments like Kerry so it won't matter if they cut off Bush.

7. Not to air every word Der Fuhrer* says is treasonous
Because every word Der Fuhrer* speaks is dircetly from God.

Do Nazis ever change?

Just their oily snakeskin, not what's inside.

16. Here's the bible quote that comes directly to my mind when I hear
Bush speak. (I know many of you are not Christian but this is what makes me shudder when I hear these lies and delusions):

IITHessalonians 1
"And for this reason God will send upon them a deluding influence so that they might believe what is false,
in order that they all may be judged who did not believe the truth, but took pleasure in wickedness"

and

II Timothy 4

""For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires;
and will turn their ears from the truth, and will turn aside to myths."

These are the verses I think of when I hear anyone from the Bush administration speak and think of all the Christians who are being misled and believing the lies.

9. Absolutely nothing new
Media bit again. His impoant War on Terror speech nothing more than a campaign speech. He pauses for effect to look out at the adoring crowd and you can just hear his voice inside his own head saying, "Love me, love me, see how they love me."

12. He could dismember and eat a live baby onstage
and this particular crowd would cheer him on. No "policy" here -- just lots of red meat tossed out to his adoring followers. :puke:

13. If they're going to do this shit, they need to give Kerry equal time.
Edited on Mon Oct-18-04 12:57 PM by Cat Atomic
The Kerry campaign should demand as much. This is really ridiculous.

When Kerry comes up for re-election, you'll be glad the media gives him free time!
