Anyone else receiving spam from US CofC re: voting?

I don't ever use those "click here to remove from mailing list", because it just lets them know it's a legit addy.

But, I sure don't want mailings from this group. Looking over the website, I didn't get a partisan feel from it (although that might very well be there on further reading) I certainly don't want mailings from a pro-business group.

Just wanted to know if anyone else has received these.

1. Haven't received any from them, but...

...I remember reading a mention of them in an old book by I.F. Stone. He'd named them as one of Hitler's American backers during the 1930's -- so they are probably fairly partisan.

The book I was speaking of was actually written by George Seldes, a contempory of Stone. It was called 'Facts and Fascism', published in 1943. Long out of print, it's worth looking through second-hand stores for it (that's where I found it).

IIRC, it mentioned the National Association of Manufacturers as another big player in supporting the Nazis in the '30s.
