John O'Neill is a washed-up has-been who leaves a horrible legacy |

to his grandchildren (poor kids if he has any). All these years of seething revenge on a man who has basically risen way above the fray that John O'Neill has constantly tried to portray him as. Pitiful man.
It has got to eat him raw that John Kerry is doing so good right now. Too bad he can't save his horrible, horrible legacy and put a stop to the lies and nonsense he has created.
Watching him on Nightline the other night was just pitiful. He desperately wants to villify John Kerry till the bitter end, but what he obviously doesn't realize is that he just looks like a washed up old fool.

1. What do we really know about O'Neill? |
|
What has he done with his pitiful life. Carrying revenge in his black little heart for 30 years can't be healthy.

2. Do you happen to have any links/info on Nixon apologizing to Kerry? |
|
Thought I read that the other day. Maybe Haldeman too.

3. MSNBC had a documentary about Kerry a month or so ago. |
|
It was actually very good. There were lots of snippets of recorded conversations between Nixon & Kissinger, Haldemann, & Colby about John Kerry. Nixon was very impressed with Kerry & remarked how much he acted, looked, & sounded like a Kennedy. It was said that "we have to destroy this young demogogue."
Colby recruited O'Neill, who met with Nixon in the oval office. Nixon told him they needed someone like him to act as a counterpart to Kerry. Colby arranged guest appearances on the media circuit for O'Neill.
Years later, after Kerry became a senator, Nixon & Colby (as a born-again Christian after his prison release) both apologized to Kerry "for any harm they may have caused him."
O'Neill just can't seem to let go of his perpetual 15 minutes of fame. His group has changed its name many times to fit the political climate/purpose.
