Interesting Political Material Found At My Dr Office

Today I took my wife to our family Dr for her weekly allergy shot. I was sitting there reading a article on Anna Kornivakova when I looked down at the table next to me and saw a small pocket cards labled....READINESS........

I took a look through it and realized the it was a TRACT put out by a Christian Group called Gaudians of Freedom.....It had images of Army Helicopters,A Rager Sharpshooter,2 Marines Folding a Flag over a Coffin, The Twin Towers and Pentegon as well as Images out of the fighting Iraq.........I think the Image that Made me the SICKEST OF ALL!!!!!!!! was a Picture of Shrubya in a Flight Jacket making a speech,not on the Lincoln.

Sickening

3. My Letter to the Group....

To My Fellow Brother or Sister in Christ...


First let me preface. My pardon was officially rang up as an All Sales Final 10 years ago. In these 10 years since receiving Jesus gift of eternal life I have read the Bible through 3 times, attended seminary, taught Sunday School and directed the SSchool department at my local church as well as written educational material.


Now on to my concern.....

This afternoon while waiting for my wife to get out of the Drs. office I looked down on a table that had reading material and noticed a TRACT put out by your organization. After reading through the first fold I recognized what is was I have passed out many during opportunities to share Jesus promise of eternal life.

As I looked through it I became quite spiritually ill and felt very dirty and could not believe what I was seeing. This TRACT titled READINESS in my opinion is very much nothing more than politically motivated. I qualify that statement by the picture of President Bush on the cover and reflecting on the attitudes amongst most evangelical this election season that are supporting the President.

In the year 2000 I voted for President Bush and was enthusiastic about dignity and honor being restored to the office of the President. I supported everything that Bush did all the way up until I began to research (aug 2003) the reasons way we were in Iraq.....this has now been revealed that there were no WMDs, no Saddam/Al Queda connection which were all reasons that Pres. Bush gave for our rush to war....not to say what ever happened to Osama Bin Laden.

I have done much praying and searching my heart over the past few months and have come to the conclusion that I cannot give Mr. Bush my vote. I believe Pres. Bush has betrayed us by leading us into a wrong war not to mention his systematic destruction of the middle and lower class while taking care of the upper income earners...these so called tax cuts have been nothing more than a carrot for the lower class income earners.Didnt Jesus say somthing about the least of these???

God gave each of us Freewill while I don't support abortion or homosexuality I don't feel it is governments position to regulate it, each of these are personal choices between the individual,family,and God.....God will judge them on the appointed day.....the Bible promises that. I support Senator Kerry not based on the above.

I think the image of President Bush on your TRACT was out of line, I believe it is also a endorsement of the President. Frankly I am seeking answers why many so called evangelicals support this man who almost holds himself almost in the same light as the Messiah.......I know Jesus would have admitted his mistake.

In conclusion......I hope whom ever is elected is truly who God has preordained, I hope that he best represents the truth the kind that set us free. Im from the old school faith and politics mix as well as motor oil and water.
