Among the many untruths our media purvey, the ones that do the
most damage, in my opinion, are:

1.No matter what our rulers do, their intentions are always noble.
For example, even if they lied to get us into war, their intent was to rid the world of Saddam Hussein, "an evil dictator" or remove the threat of terrorism.
2. Not only are our rulers virtuous people, with good intentions, they are dealing with demons with unpronounceable names with the wrong skin color and weird religions that are unacceptable to Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson.
3. Any one who crticizes this basic premise, in "beyond the mainstream" or a "Conspiracy Theorist", so can be ignored.

If there is a better way to muzzle any criticism, one is yet to be devised.Even the Soviets, with all their total control, failed at this task.

goes right along with down is up, black is white, war is peace, and all the other absurdities that have characterized the BushCo years . . .
