New truck sign idea. Need input.

"Better Dead Than ed"

Is this too obscure or do you think they will get it?

1. Well, I don't get it.
Don't know how representative I am of the general population, though.

4. Crap. It didn't post properly.
Edited on Tue Oct-19-04 09:42 AM by DarkPhenyx
Let me try it again.

it sould read "Better Dead Than {R}ed" with brackets around the R in red like you usually see in front of politicians names when they are indicating party affiliation.

8. Way too obscure
Most people will just think you're saying it's better to be dead than to be a Communist.

9. Yeah, I wondered about that...
...though it is going in next to my two anti-Bush signs. I may put it up anyway. I like making people think about things.

10. I don't get it
but I am dense.

Why not just a sign that says:

November 2nd !!

I hear there is a November 2nd t-shirt movement. It would be simple and easy to do, and most people get that, even I did.

13. well, back in the day...
...when the cold war was running, you could hear some folks screaming "Better Dead Than Red" speaking against Communism. I find a certain bit of irony in Republican states being colored red. Tis a far better thing to be blue, no? :)
