A small plane crashes in metro Atlanta, killing two people, and your first thought is:

WHERE ARE ALL OUR DEMOCRATIC SENATORS AND ARE THEY ALL OKAY???

It did cross my mind, too.

I was worried about 2 Democratic Senators in particular. I assume they're ok, or we would have heard something by now.

4. I've noticed that the tinfoil hat smilies have disappeared the last year

as it becomes increasingly obvious that many of us tinfoilers were not even up to the conspiracy level that is actually likely with the BFEE.

3. I know, tears came to my eyes when I heard about Edward's plane delay

The other day when I first heard about the warning light preventing Edward's plane from taking off I caught myself starting to cry. Then when I watched coverage of Edward's speech in Florida, I got concerned watching the crowd surrounding him afterwards.

I am old enough to remember the assassinations of JFK and RFK and the emotional blow of having so many dreams shattered. Our wonderful candidates this important election year bring so much hope and I pray for their safety and strength.
