Great info on fixing military and how we screwed up in Iraq.
I watched this live on cspan today, and it was a really great panel duscussing how our civilian leaders are running the military based on ancient plans. Great panel of people, with some very good ideas.

If you have the chance, please try to watch the video. The program was called "Status of the Armed Forces". This link is titled "Security Policy Working Group The Effect of Recent Military Operations on U.S. Armed Forces".

1. They had a bad plan in Viet Nam
and they have a bad plan in Iraq. At least we'll never have to hear the chickenhawks boast of their terrific war plan cuz it sucked.

2. Yes, and this panel focused on the structure of the military.
The entire structure is wrong, and based upon McArthur's strategy. I really enjoyed watching it. What these guys said made sense!
