Good news for Kerry in Iowa?
Maybe we should listen to our young people here.

"Senator John Kerry defeated President Bush by a 97 vote margin Tuesday in a mock election held at Davenport Central High School."

Sounds like the kids have it together at Central High. And, of course, kids often mirror their parents beliefs. for more details check out www.wqad.com. It's on the front page of the website.

1. I met some wonderful folks when I was in Davenport...
I really enjoyed my stay there last September. Some great and welcoming folks there. This IS good news!

2. Great News Bluzmann!
That must mean Iowa City must be at about 99%. Johnson County always votes democratic. Are you coming up for the Edwards event Thursday?

3. Iowa City is one of the most liberal towns in Iowa
if not America. Alas, I can't make it up there Thursday, I work 12 hour shifts and as old as I am, I need sleep after work. Although, it is fairly early, so maybe I can at that. And its supposed to be nice Thursday, so it can be outdoors.
