The way I understood it was this was the plan from the beginning. They may be trying to sugar coat it but I'm not so sure the plan has changed. The guy they fired because he refused to take part in it, his interview last night said they had a meeting where Sinclair told the news guys they wanted it to be an hour long show using clips from the movie to make it look like a news program. He was fired because, as he in so many words said, would not associate NEWS with this made up movie and purposefully deceive the public. So to me, it looks as if they haven't really budged on much of anything.
