Can't imagine ever going back to repuke jingoism masquerading as "news".

Maybe it'll evolve into something along those lines more so than it is now!

8. We'll be just fine...
...if the fact that Rush, Hannity and all of the right-wing gasbags are still in business 4 years after Bush took office is any indication. You would have thought they would all shrivel up and die when Clinton left office, since they had nothing to bitch about.

16. Getting a Democrat in the White House is just the beginning!

Believe me when I tell you there is plenty to talk about on Nov 3rd.

Make that Nov. 4th; Kerry/Edwards will have earned a day off, and we will have earned a day to celebrate.

20. It will be MORE fun
Discussing and reading politics has been nerve-wrecking with Bush in office. There are many posts on the DU that are fun to read and some that make me laugh out loud. But after the laugh is over, I immediately go right back to assuming my alarmed and stressed out citizen role thanks to GWB. I'm constantly guarded and it's scary as hell.

Once we have a reasonable leader back in place in the White House I will again be able to relax and simply enjoy politics again. DU will be MORE fun because we can laugh out loud at stupid Republicans knowing that a very stupid and dangerous man is no longer the head of our country.

....2 weeks and counting until I can breathe a sigh of relief...

I for one plan to hold Kerry's feet to the fire as he continues to prosecute the war.

24. eternal vigilance
Slacking off is how we got into this mess in the first place. That's why my respect for Howard Dean shot way up (even higher than it was before) when he started his organization. That's the way to do it. If we win the White House, we still have a lot of cleaning out to do in Congress and at the state and local level.

Plus, top ten conservative idiots will never run out of fodder. Although I do look forward to the day when it becomes "Top Ten Menu Items sold by Ann Coulter at Taco Bell Today."

27. Hell yea, there is still alot of work to do.
Once Kerry takes office we need to take back the House and Senate ( although there is a great chance we can take the Senate back this election). We have to work hard on bringing the entire nation back together away from this fear based hate and division the repukes hoped would have them reelected
