my response to the Edward's hair flap...

on another board, there are drudgites going on and on about Edward's hair (gee, maybe Jon Stewart had a point)

so here was my response to one of them:

did you watch F 9/11? there's a long clip of Wolfowitz, Bush, Cheney, Rice, Powell getting their hair settled for the cameras.

the wolfowitz one is especially funny, as he tries everything to calm an errant lock, including sticking his whole comb in his mouth and allowing an underling to use his saliva.

looking as good as you can on camera is part of politics.

all I have to say is, if this is all you bush supporters are concerned about in this election, it explains how you strain at a gnat and swallow a camel.

The whole time you're worried about edwards hair, you missed the elephant in the living room: catastrophic deficit, tanked economy, Torture cells in Abu Ghraib, Saudi payoffs of the bush family, The outing of a CIA agent for political reprisal, lying about WMDs to justify an unjustified invasion of Iraq, failing to make Al Queda a priority, the alienation of traditional allies, the losses of american troops in Iraq, the backdoor draft, the coming draft, legal troubles for Delay, Anthrax killer not found, Chalabi lied to us for Iran, Spies for Isreal in the pentagon....

but hey, if you want to concentrate on Edward's hair, then I suppose you must be politically savvy for a repub.
